CCFC next steps

I feel that if CCFC were to progress as a football club they would need to concentrate on advertising in the local area. Areas in which they should look to advertise should be:

. Radio
.Television
. Websites
. Newspapers

If they could make some local partnerships with companys such as 'peak 107' or 'The derbyshire times' this could help them raise their profile on a much bigger scale. The advantages of doing this could be great. For example more advertising could attract more players giving themselves a better chance of having better squads. It would increase particpation which could lead to an increase of funding. Also the chain could continue with progessing the club further through funding leading to more jobs due to the increased particpation through advertising. Another great way they could advertise is by ceasing the oppotunity of using the college website. The website creates a great oppotunity to get information about the club available to all students but also give match reports and review for parents and others interested.  I feel the benefits could be great for the club if they were to advertise and get links locally. It would help them achieve their objectives much quicker and efficently.

  1. From reading your blog, I agree that advertising is one of the weaker point of the college. I like your ideas of getting in touch with the local radio stations to promote the academy. In doing this you could gain sponsorship from local businesses which would then increase funding for the academy. I problem that I see with this suggestion though is the funding the college has to begin with. The college may not have the sufficient funding to allow the academy to advertise and promote live on radio stations. Because of this, I believe your idea of using the college website to be more efficient as it won't cost anything to advertise, and could be done at any time by any member of staff.
